The movie is about Marni, played by Kristen Bell, who is coming home for her brother's wedding, and feels terrible about not having met the girl of his brother's dreams. But when she learns that the girl that he is about to marry was the very girl that tormented and ruined her life in high school, all the memories and feelings that she felt back then come rushing back.When she meets Joanna, played by Odette Yustman, she has a hard time figuring out of the way she is now is the new and improved Joanna, or still the evil high school girl she went to school with.Telling her mother, who Jamie Lee Curtis plays the role of, she tells her that people change and move on from the past, until the girl that she remembers from high school walks through her front door as Joanna's aunt Mona, played by Sigourney Weaver.Now Marni feels like she has to make sure this wedding doesn't happen, in order to protect the brother she loves from marrying the mean girl from school.

I've got to say this movie was really funny. Seeing Jamie Lee Cutis and Sigourney Weaver on the screen together was amazing.They are both fantastic actresses, though this movie was a romantic comedy, they are both very funny women.Another person I didn't mention is Betty White, who is making appearences in everything these days.She does a great job at bringing the laughs as well.The character I was able to relate to the most though was Marni.I personally hated high school for the reason that everyone I went with was evil.Getting made fun of really does something to you and it makes you a stronger person if you are able to survive it and move passed it, which is one of the themes that the movie covers.
